Comissioned oil painting based on SVBIEDs used in Syria, Paintings are homemade armored suicide vehicles that are heavily used in the middle eastern campaigns. They are packed with lots of explosives to be driven towards enemy. Also, in jihadism there is a tradition of decorating the vehicles with flowers before riding out. So the idea of the painting is, turning these suicide war machines back into modernist abstract paintings but with this kind of geopolitical context.
