La Bella Terra (The Beautiful Land) is the title of an important solo exhibition by Isabella Ducrot, the result of a project by Taobuk SeeSicily and MAXXI, in collaboration with the Naxos Taormina Archaeological Park and the support of D.S.A. group, on display at Palazzo Ciampoli, Taormina, from June 16 to August 27, 2023. The works of Isabella Ducrot, an internationally established Italian artist, narrate in a poetic, delicate, and at the same time powerful way the themes of travel, myth, and landscape, with a vision that emphasizes the beauty of life and the natural essence of things. The themes and lines present in her creative research, which we find in Bella Terra, reinforce MAXXI and Taobuk's gaze on the Mediterranean and the opportunity to contribute to the festival's palimpsest of literature, art and thought with an artist who sublimely combines visual art and words. The exhibition is curated by Monia Trombetta, with artistic direction by Bartolomeo Pietromarchi.
